My first impression upon meeting Sabrina was, "Why hasn't someone discovered this girl??" With her amazing bone structure, long hair, and sweet smile, she looked as if she had walked off the cover of a magazine. I asked her if she would want to do her session with more of an editorial/fashion vibe and she was totally game for that!
As I got to know Sabrina more during her shoot, she showed me that she was more than just a pretty face. She's whip smart, and loves science. She wants to become a dermatologist, and has plans to start her pre-med courses after high school.
Sabrina also loves fall color and we incorporated lots of gorgeous leaves and the backdrop of the Finley river into her session. She talked a lot about her family, and how she hoped she would be able to make it to her little brother's football game after our session. I could tell that family is very important to her. I even got to meet her dad Gary, and I could see how proud he is of his daughter.
I look forward to shooting with Sabrina again in the future - as she and her parents have agreed to let her model for me from time to time. Collaborating with other creative people, whether they be models or other photographers, on personal and editorial work can be one of the most rewarding experiences.
Thank you, Sabrina, for a wonderful and fun afternoon! I can't wait to get you in front of my camera again!
