On a gorgeous late September day, two people who have proven their devotion to one another took vows in front of their most loved friends and family. Addie and Dakota's wedding day was beyond perfect - from the fashionably rustic details and decor, to the stunning lace wedding gown that complemented Addie's classic bombshell looks, there was beauty at every turn.

I love shooting at The Gambrel Barn! It is such a classy and elegant example of the rustic trend - built using materials sourced and rescued from actual salvaged barns. The owners are super kind and gracious, and are so easy to work with. Addie and her family decorated the barn with an array of twinkle lights, vintage knick-knacks, and tree branches. It created such a warm and welcoming ambience.

We had so much fun hanging out with the wedding party as we shot candids during getting-ready and then moved into the first look and portrait time. Addie and Dakota's friends are a riot!

As Addie and Dakota made their promises to one another, you could see how much they were enjoying every moment of their day. It's beautiful to see two people so deeply in love. Their loyalty to one another as well as the strength of their friendships was apparent in every way.

After the creative (and hilarious!) toasts, breakfast for dinner was served by the always fabulous Simply Delicious. Following a sweet cake cutting, it was time for some dancing! Bramy Entertainment kept the dance floor hopping all night long!

The party wound down with a sparkler exit and a great escape via Dakota's dad, who sped off with the happy couple on his restored vintage VW trike. It was the perfect ending to a wonderful day filled with many happy memories.

Thanks for having us, Addie and Dakota! Congratulations on your wedding, and may you have a lifetime of many happy anniversaries to come!

Lynne and Jon are two of my favorite people. They are an honest, down-to-earth couple who have a love that would make anyone smile. I enjoyed getting to know them during their engagement session in February, where they told me all about how they met at a Springfield Cardinals game. They have been such a fun couple to work with!

Lynne and Jon eloped to their favorite place, Sedona, AZ in May, but had us photograph their reception/celebration at the Savoy Ballroom on Historic C-Street a few weeks later. They created so many wonderful DIY projects - from the tree that Jon crafted to showcase their Hurts Donuts buffet, to the well-thought out place cards featuring notable Arizona landmarks, all of their details served to demonstrate their love for the desert(and dessert!)

As the night went on, Lynne and Jon made sure to mingle and make all of their guests feel welcome. It's obvious how much their friends and family adore them! I don't think there was a dry eye in the house during their sweet first dance. It was a wonderful evening spent with truly wonderful people. Thanks for having us, Lynne and Jon! I wish you many happy years cheering on the Royals and the Cards!
