weddings at the savoy ballroom

When Zach and Jenny wed at Drury University in late July, they filled their day with friendship. Their attendants were all couples that they had known through their time as students at Drury University, and Zach's fraternity brothers from Lambda Chi Alpha were a big part of the day as well. It was so wonderful to see how they've built lifelong friendships that have lasted through cross-country moves, career changes, and marriages. And do their friends ever know how to have fun!

When Zach and Jenny told me they wanted me to focus attention on the dancing and shenanigans during their reception at The Savoy Ballroom, we were happy to oblige. As you can see, their wedding day was full of great candid moments - both beautiful and high-spirited! Thanks for having us, Zach and Jenny. It was wonderful to laugh and smile along with you on your wedding day!

Lynne and Jon are two of my favorite people. They are an honest, down-to-earth couple who have a love that would make anyone smile. I enjoyed getting to know them during their engagement session in February, where they told me all about how they met at a Springfield Cardinals game. They have been such a fun couple to work with!

Lynne and Jon eloped to their favorite place, Sedona, AZ in May, but had us photograph their reception/celebration at the Savoy Ballroom on Historic C-Street a few weeks later. They created so many wonderful DIY projects - from the tree that Jon crafted to showcase their Hurts Donuts buffet, to the well-thought out place cards featuring notable Arizona landmarks, all of their details served to demonstrate their love for the desert(and dessert!)

As the night went on, Lynne and Jon made sure to mingle and make all of their guests feel welcome. It's obvious how much their friends and family adore them! I don't think there was a dry eye in the house during their sweet first dance. It was a wonderful evening spent with truly wonderful people. Thanks for having us, Lynne and Jon! I wish you many happy years cheering on the Royals and the Cards!
