I'm interested in booking you for my wedding. How does it all work? CURRENTLY ACCEPTING LIMITED WEDDING BOOKINGS for 2018 - 2019 My basic package starts at $2450 for 8 hours of coverage with one photographer and prices go up from there. Use my CONTACT form to inquire for your date! I will respond and we can continue our conversation over coffee, FaceTime, or Skype. I can even draft a contract for you to look over online.

Do you travel for weddings? I mostly serve Southern California and the Central Coast, but I do serve areas outside of SoCal for an additional fee to cover my travel and lodging. Just let me know where your wedding will be when you contact me and I will send you a custom quote.

So what is fine art photography, exactly?
Lifestyle, or fine-art photography involves a mix of photojournalism with a stylized narrative - I was a writer before I was a photographer, so my photography has a distinct, storytelling thread. I focus on emotional human interaction more than stylized photography, although romantic portraits with natural feeling are a defining facet of my work.

Do you photograph details?  While the majority of my coverage is defined by moments-driven emotions, I do photograph wedding details during getting-ready time. If you would like me to style and photograph your jewelry, dress, shoes, and mementos, please have them organized and ready upon my arrival at your getting ready location and allow for plenty of time for me to photograph them before you get dressed. If I have to choose between photographing your mom crying happy tears while she buttons your dress, or photographing a pair of shoes in a well-lit corner somewhere, I'm going to go with mom!

Do you shoot same-sex weddings? Absolutely! I proudly serve the LGBTQ community. In fact, two of my couples have been published on two national wedding blogs: Catalyst WedCo and Artfully Wed.

Do you only shoot with natural/available light?
Light is my thing! I love natural light, but I also love to play with modifying light and creating effects that aren't possible with natural light alone. Being able to see light well is one of the areas in which I can be confident in saying I excel. Sometimes "natural light only" isn't a possibility at your venue or during certain times of year, so it's important to have a photographer who can work with any conditions.

Do you do Family Photography? I do family portraits on mini session dates two weekends a year - one in the fall, and one in the spring. Contact me for more info!

What are your favorite topics to blog about? I like to write about all sorts of things. Photography is a big passion of mine, but I'm also into travel, nature, philosophizing(daydreaming!) home decor, and beauty and fashion. I also like trying new paleo and ketogenic recipes, so I may even sometimes post about food!
